(If you do not have your "Authpoint WatchGuard 2 Factor Authentication app token" setup you will not be able to add your email to the Gmail app.)
Step 1. Open the Gmail app on your iPhone / Smartphone. If you have no accounts added to the Gmail app it will look like the photo below. Click Sign in.
Note: If you do not see this screen go to the next step.
Note: If you do not have an account yet added skip to Step 4.
Step 2. If you have a personal or other work email account added to your Gmail app then you will click on your google account photo icon on the top right corner of the Gmail app.
Note: You may just see a letter for your photo if you do not have profile photo setup.
Step 3. Then a menu will appear and click on "Add another account" as pictured in the photo below.
Step 4. You will then see this screen open and then click on "Google" as pictured below.
Step 5. You should see this message pop up click "Continue"
Step 6. Type in your NLS email then click next. Example: yourusername@isd345.org
Step 7. You will be forwarded to the Google WatchGuard login page where you will need to re-enter your email once again. Example: yourusername@isd345.org
Note: "If you do not have your Authpoint WatchGuard 2 Factor Authentication app token setup you will not be able to add your email to the Gmail app."
Step 8. Then you will enter your password and then click send push.
Note: If you can not send a push you can also click on "Type One-Time Password" and enter the code in your WatchGuard app before the code times out.
Step 9. If you where able to send a push you will get a notification on your iPhone / Smartphone. Note: If you do not get a notification open the WatchGuard app on your iPhone / Smartphone and you should see the same message come up.
"Click on Approve" As pictured below.
!Note: If you see this come up when you are not trying to log into your account do not Aporove the request and contact the NLS IT Department.
Step 10. Once you Approve the request. Your account will be added to the Gmail app and you will start to see your emails load in as pictured below. I blocked out my emails for privacy.
Note: It may look slightly different on your iPhone since I used a iPad to take these screenshots.
You have now finished setting up your email.
