This solution demonstrates the best settings to use when you wish to share a video with your class on the smartboard, and on Zoom while being able to work on your computer at the same time.
| You are in class, ready to transition to watching a movie. Stop your screenshare (if you were screensharing) | |
| Press the Windows Key + P to extend your screen to the Smartboard. Move your video to your smartboard. | |
| In Zoom, press the green Share Screen Button | |
| Select "Screen 2" (If screen 2 is not what is on your Smartboard, choose your smartboard screen). On the bottom of the window, check the boxes that say "Share computer sound" and "Optimize Screen Sharing for Video Clip" Press the blue share button. |

| Begin to play the video, the video will play on Zoom and on your Smart Board. You may work freely on your laptop at this time. Remember: If your mic is turned on, your remote students will still hear what is going on in your classroom, you may choose to mute your mic while playing video to reduce echo for your remote students |
