A red "x" icon on the OneDrive icon in your system tray (next to the date and time in the lower right corner of your screen) means there is a sync issue somewhere, click the icon for an explanation of the error. | |
Any icon with blue arrows in a circular motion indicate a file being synced, this process is automatic and does not require attention from the user. If the arrows do not go away after an extended period of time a restart of your computer may resolve the issue. | |

A blue cloud icon indicates that a file is saved only on OneDrive, if you always have internet access the file will automatically download when you try to open it. If you know you will be going offline right click the file and select "always keep on this device" this will download the file so you can access it offline. | |
A green check box indicates that a file has been downloaded to your device and is also available on OneDrive. No user attention is required if you see this symbol. |
