If you search for something on your computer and you get a black screen and cannot search anything, try the following steps.
Right click on your taskbar and select Task Manager
In the Processes Tab
Find Windows Explorer in the list
Click "Restart" in the lower left corner.
Your screen will blink black then return to normal, your search should be fully restored.
Another fix, is to do all of the updates and restart your computer, but this is a quicker fix until you have time to do updates.
